Barbie Gets Eco Friendly Home
Barbie just got her own eco friendly home. Throughout their lives, children have seen Barbie switch easily from one job to another; now Barbie is an architect and she got her dream house, and that too an eco friendly home at that.
This Barbie is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) with LEED accreditation and is supposedly one of the best. The new Barbie and her eco friendly home are supposed to hit stores on 15th August. For the design, Mattel and AIA had kept a competition, the winners of which would be decided by public votes. Ting Li and Maja Pakler -recent Harvard graduates and New York collaborators- won.
This eco friendly home is modern, eco-friendly, and very pink. This home has an open chef's kitchen, landscaped garden on the rooftop as well as green-lifestyle touches throughout the 4,881 square feet and fitness rooms. But the best part is the computerized glass tower closet that runs through all floors. It is an awesome eco friendly home.
